The Times shuts down Play magazine

It feels like yesterday that I was doing some work for that magazine. I can’t believe that they will shut it down :((. The newspaper industry is shrinking fast and the economy is not helping.

The Play Magazine used to be one of the places where The Times’ graphics desk spent great effort creating engaging interactive graphics. Since Play was a quarterly magazine, there was usually plenty of time available to plan and create interesting graphics. I am deeply saddened by the loss :\.
