This brilliant use of illustrations to tell a very interesting story engaged me deeply. I highly recommend you read it.
You gotta love the sparkline charts in this interactive.

Not all the sectors are in bad shape. As you can see local government and state government are still doing pretty well. I guess we need more people in the government to do the right thing ;/
In this third part, we start with heavier stuff at the beginning and ease out with lighter videos at the end. Enjoy.

I got this one from Kim’s blog. Kim is a wonderful artist I work with.
“To my darling husband,
Before you return from your business trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into the driveway.
Fortunately not too bad and I really didn’t get hurt, so please don’t worry too much about me. I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway, I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage door is slightly bent but the pickup luckily came to a halt when it bumped into your car. I am really sorry, but I know with your kind heart and magnanimous personality you will forgive me.
You know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart.
I am enclosing a picture for you.
I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.
Your loving wife.

I bought a Cintiq 12WX recently from Wacom, and haven’t used it for any real work, yet, besides drawing and painting for fun. After watching this video, I really want to try to do a 3D project with this new tablet.
The video demo is cool, but I noticed a few lags with the app here and there. I am not sure how complex the code behind this is, but from a user standpoint, that is undesirable. Still a pretty cool video to watch though.
